Let the truffle begin!

*Ring ring* photocopy* *reply email* *listen to voicemail* lots of initialing every single page*

We are getting through the boring parts of the building and buying process & there's an unforgiving amount of paperwork. I keep myself motivated by scrolling Pinterest & pinning billions (perhaps more) of decor ideas.

At our colour selection, we went in with intentions to get the darkest brick we could without spending anything more than hundreds. The bricks in Category 1 were either too red, light sandy brown (latte?)...Or ..orange-red.  For just two hundred & sixty dollars more, we went with Truffle. Who wouldn't want to live in a house made of truffle?

To compliment the Trufs, we went with a Dark Grey (almost black)tile  with matching monument garage door, drains to also go with window frames. Our Front door is bright RED which I uuam over the moon-happy with. I made sure to google Feng Shui first to make is it didn't give off a weird demonic vibe and was glad to know it gives off a "welcoming vibe" - nice!

I took my iPad with us with my squillions of Pintrests for the inside colour decor. It was a perfect reference when picking our tiles, kitchen and bathrooms.

It would have been easier had there been a computer with a color simulator but maybe I'm living in the future.

We went with light, white-grayish tone matte floor tiles for entry, living and kitchen. Kitchen has white cabinets with oyster gray stone bench-top, matching light grey overhead cabinets. Dark gray splash back.

Grey mist walls (looks white to me).
